ImpliCity uses teamwork and a grid system to explore solid and void relationships between objects in space. For this project, our class was split into two large groups. Each group member provided two pieces to the team's "city": one that was pre-determined by a previous project (white) and one that would be created as a response (basswood). Members were given a number of squares on the grid as their site and were responsible for two section drawings (indicated by their grid location) and four perspectives. As a group, we worked together to organize the white existing pieces based on their solid-void relationships and to create responses to the "existing conditions".
